CONFESSIONS

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10.30am to 11.00am of Holy week (Funerals excepted)
Holy Saturday 11.00am to 12.00pm & 2.00pm to 4.00pm

PALM SUNDAY – 24th March

This day commemorates the triumphal entry of the Lord into Jerusalem and sets the scene for the coming days.
Masses: Saturday 6:30 pm, 10.30am, 12 noon , 7:00 pm

HOLY THURSDAY – 28th March

On this day we celebrate the institution of the Blessed Eucharist at the Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Supper at 8pm
No morning Masses, except the Chrism Mass with the Archbishop, in the Pro-Cathedral, are celebrated on Holy Thursday.

WATCH AND PRAY AT THE ALTAR OF REPOSE
in the Parish Centre from 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm

GOOD FRIDAY – 29th March    

  • 12.00 pm Ecumenical Way of the Cross departing from St. Mary’s and processing to the Methodist, Presbyterian and Church of Ireland Churches.
  • 3.00 pm Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, including veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion
  • 8.00 pm Stations of the Cross

HOLY SATURDAY – 30th March    

  • Holy Saturday is a sombre day recalling the Lord in the tomb.
  • 9.00 pm Easter Vigil – this is the principal celebration of the Church. This celebrates the triumph of Christ over death and is the culmination and high point of the Church year. We light the outdoor fire, distribute the light from the Easter Candle, renew our Baptismal promises and join in the Easter Alleluia!

EASTER SUNDAY – 31st March                  

  • 9.00 am Mass
  • 10.30 am Family Mass
  • 12noon Mass
