Praising the Lord in Song
St. Mary's Folk Group was formed in September 2000, with the intention of providing Contemporary Christian music. Our aim is to create a prayerful atmosphere, enhance the liturgy, and encourage congregational participation.
With approximately 25 members and ongoing valued support from the parish, the group also provides music for some parish events.
We sing at 12.15 pm mass on two Sundays of every month and rehearse in the Church at 8.15 pm on each preceding Wednesday. Our rehearsals are fun and relaxed and new members are always welcome.
