Within His Palm

When sunshine comes and touches us
It brings a message from above
To lighten hearts that pain did touch
To signal that He cares for us.
He watches closely as we go
About our daily chores.
His Hand suspends above our heads
Guiding us around those bends,
He walks beside us oft as not
A close companion by our side,
Throughout each moment of the day
A touch if not a breath away.
When time is right
We’ll come to rest
In His Hand outstretched
We’ll climb aboard to nestle deep
Within His Palm.
