Whoever would believe that the above photograph was taken in Lucan just a couple of weeks ago!

On the lands of St. Edmundsbury, keen photographer and member of St. Mary's Camera Soiree, Paddy Mulkerrins, captured this beautiful autumnal scene. Time was when the village of Lucan was surrounded by such fields, and we hardly even noticed them.

It's true what they say - you never miss a thing until it's gone!
